Here’s what Mallory of All The Dainty Details, who styled and planned the shoot had to say:
“The Rooftop is a new private event space set in the heart of Crozet, Virginia. The space offers an intimate and romantic atmosphere for couples looking to celebrate their wedding, while showcasing a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our goal was to highlight the simplicity in holding a small, intimate wedding, while displaying the amazing, panoramic scene of the mountain view at every angle. It’s white, wood, and gold indoor space is just as dreamy, showing off its mountain charm with modern fixtures. For an outside shoot in December, we wanted to create a look that was cozy as well as elegant. The overflowing greenery, the bride’s long sleeve lace dress and gold accents really pulled together that magical winter atmosphere. We choose warm toned linens and florals full of texture. The vibrant pop of red in the florals stood out well against the natural beauty of the mountain backdrop. To top it all of off, we included a hot cider bar where one could “spike it up” however they liked, guaranteed to help keep them toasty! All of our vendors are local to the area. Our couple was the absolute sweetest and actually wed earlier this year at a local courthouse. Due to COVID-19, they decided to cancel their original wedding planned for 2020. Although it was not the wedding reception filled with family and friends they envisioned, we were able to gift them with beautiful photos”.
What we love:
Hot cider, stunning mountain views high upon a rooftop, magical lights, all set the tone for a memorable wedding.
Tasteful decor as well as a tasty catering spread will make guests extremely happy.
