Today’s styled shoot’s theme is Black Ice and is the vision of Michelle Ellis, owner of McEllis Brides.
Part 2 of a 3 part series, this first shoot imagines a glamorous elopement featuring unique, custom bridal attire by McEllis Brides.

Here’s what Michelle says about her inspiration behind this theme…
“I wanted to capture the new look of weddings after Covid. Celebrations will be a lot smaller and non traditional. I want to inspire couples by telling a story through images. They do not have to sacrifice the luxurious and elegant aspects of their wedding because they have to scale down. You can still get all the feels, whether your eloping or having a micro wedding.”
What we love:
There is a fairy tale quality about the ball gown matched perfectly in a ballroom setting, for an intimate affair.
The black and white color decor sets an elegant and glamorous tone with sparkles and glitter, not to mention coordinating perfectly with the groom’s sophisticated attire ( LOVE that bow tie)!
Although the theme has a classic, formal vibe, there is still a hint of playfulness, as the groom waits for his bride, relaxing shooting pool.
And doesn’t the model look just like a fairy princess?
