Thrive RVA ( Women’s Inspiration)

Thrive RVA is a women’s self care studio that has recently opened in Innsbrook near Short Pump.

Walk through the door at Thrive, Mind, Body and Soul, and you immediately leave the world and stress behind. Enter into beautiful rooms filled with fine art, gorgeous and inviting sitting areas and private rooms.  Thrive is unlike any other spa and health experience which is apparent the moment you enter.

I recently stopped by to check them out and I have to say I was just blown away; the website will give you some insight but you will be amazed when you see it in real time!

The Back Story:

After spending 13 years as an A licensed VA contractor working in a male dominated industry Founder & CEO Nancy Jones decided it was time for a change. Thrive is the magical place she dreamed of and then created. At its core it’s a place where self care comes to life and finds expression and balance for the mind, body and soul.

The Services:

Not only are there massage, facials and assorted wellness treatments; Thrive offers Yoga classes, an art room full of art supplies where one can express their creativity and an abundance of other services.  Unwind in one of the peace and calm rooms set up for reflection, work on your computer in a quiet environment, read a book or just take a nap. These calming rooms can also include aromatherapy and have beautiful murals depicting serene nature scenes.

A variety of wellness services include liquid sound immersion, meditation  and wellness pod therapy. The chill out minis sessions-  15 minute focused healing massage with your choice of scalp, hands, or feet, is perfect if you want to run by on your lunch break and don’t have time for a longer treatment service.

The grown up sandbox that allows you to channel your inner kid, has to be my absolute favorite!

Anyone who has enjoyed the experience of a soothing and calming spa service, knows that feeling you get, right?  That feeling of complete relaxation and nurturing that you wish could go on forever. At Thrive you can enjoy this experience several times per week, since you can purchase a membership, that’s right, you can join the club at Thrive and pop in whenever you would like “me time”. If you are not interested in committing to a membership, that is fine as well, anyone can book any of the services or spaces at Thrive.

Imagine a magical sanctuary where you can just hang out; enjoy a wellness service, a class, drink a glass of wine, work a puzzle, or read a good book in the library. That’s what makes Thrive so unique and so inviting.

In addition, the meeting rooms at Thrive are available for network meetings, team building events, classes, and workshops. Or rent out the entire building for a special event such as a girl’s day out, bridal parties or bridal showers. The possibilities are limitless.
