Outer Banks’ Premier Bridal Vendors Gather at Redesigned Resort

Duck, North Carolina (January 15, 2014) – Sanderling Resort, the Outer Banks’ only full-service resort and spa, hosts its Wedding Showcase on Saturday, March 15, 2014. From 11am-4pm, newlyweds-to-be planning an Outer Banks wedding are invited to meet with some of the area’s top wedding experts; from talented bakers and florists to photographers and officiants, against the property’s picturesque sea-to-sound setting.

Nestled on the Currituck Sound just steps from peaceful waters and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, Sanderling Resort, a “Style Me Pretty” Little Black Book Member and Southern Living Weddings affiliate, offers enchanting venues for weddings on the Outer Banks. In conjunction with the multi-million-dollar redesign completed last year, the property unveiled all-new wedding venues, including the indoor/outdoor Pavilion, a 1,500-square-foot Event House, and an outdoor deck ideal for ceremonies and receptions, complete with a fire pit for group gatherings. Additionally, the Event Lawn, situated on the Atlantic end of the property, is perfectly manicured for weddings and special events and is complete with an observation deck steps from the ocean. Seven new guestrooms, two new pools, revitalized restaurant concepts, a spa and engaging new programming and activities contribute to the resort’s casual coastal elegance.

As Sanderling Resort transforms into a comprehensive bridal exhibit, while incorporating event designers and a palette of inspired themes, the interactive 2014 wedding show invites brides-to-be to learn the ins and outs of planning the ideal ceremony. The destination’s foremost, as well as photographers, videographers, wedding planners, officiant services and DJs will all offer their tips to customize the dream wedding.

Additional information on the Wedding Showcase, including an up-to-date roster of vendors and ticket purchases, can be found at Tickets are $15 per person and can be picked up at Sanderling Resort the day of the event.
