Mixing things up a bit and starting today’s real VA wedding post with the groom! This is Ryan and in April of this year he married his college sweetheart Tiffany at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond, Virginia.
He and his groomsmen wore grey suits with brown shoes. Very sharp guys. Now for the bride!!!!
Tiffany looked flawless in this lace, sweetheart neckline gown.
Her maids all wore different dresses all in shades of pink. They definitely achieved the mix-match look!
Ryan and Tiffany did a first look before the ceremony and I love his face in this pic… He’s like smirking about the upcoming moment of seeing his bride.
Their smiles are everything!
This pic is everythinggggg!
With the sun shinning down on them, Tiffany walked down the aisle accompanied by her father. He looks so darn proud #adorbs.
Their ceremony was filled with love and blossoming April flowers.
And soon enough, they were husband and wife!
Their reception was filled with sweet details.
Like these cakes! Each a different, delicious flavor.
They ALSO hired an artist to draw caricatures. Coolest. Idea. EVER.
They look pretty pumped to be married, if you ask me 😉 congrats you two!
From the Bride:
What was your favorite detail from the day? “My favorite detail from the day would definitely have to be the custom seating card display that my dad built for us. He really did such a great job. I just sent him a picture of what I wanted from pinterest and he made it happen. I love it so much because I don’t feel like it’s something that you see often.”
What advice would you give a bride to be? “I have so much advice! My biggest advice would be to breathe and just know that if you are too busy stressing and worrying about your wedding you won’t be able to enjoy the ride. This is not necessarily MY advice, mostly just what people kept reminding me as I was planning– and it really helped! Also, do not be afraid to DIY! I probably saved at least three thousand dollars by making my own flowers and centerpieces, and it honestly was totally worth it. You can go to youtube and learn how to make pretty much any sort of bouquet or arrangement you want. Please don’t fall into the “Say Yes to The Dress” I have to spend thousands of dollars on a dress mindset, I was able to find an affordable dress that was, no offense, way prettier than some of these $10,000 dresses I see on that show. Remember shopping online can be your friend– I found my veil on etsy for nearly $150 cheaper than what a bridal shop quoted me.”

Tiffany is the most beautiful bride, I loved her wedding dress in the back and the upper front. The couple is deep love. Congratulation to both of them. God Bless!
