Virginia wedding

Real Wedding Wednesday: Sonnee and Chad

Just in time for it to get cold in Virginia, I came across this Virginia Bride, Sonnee’s Hawaiian wedding and I just HAD to share it with y’all!

Sonnee’s groom, Chad, waited for her on Waialae Beach in Kahala just as the sun was setting.

The two gave one another Hawaiian leis and then said their vows.

With a kiss, they sealed the deal on forever!

The love birds actually met at work where their paths continued to cross over a few years’ time. “I actually tried to avoid him because ever time I laid eyes on him my heart starting beating fast and my palms became sweaty,” Sonnee recalled.

But you can’t avoid true love!

This beautiful setting certainly needs no additional decor but would you look at those florals?! Stunning!

Congratulations Sonnee and Chad! Thank you for letting us share you wedding as Virginians taking on Hawaii! Now, I’d like to follow your lead and take on Hawaii myself! Who’s with me?!

From the Bride:

What was your favorite detail of the day? “We hired a wedding coordinator to assist with the florist, cake, hair/makeup, musician, videographer, photographer and reception details because this would be our first trip to Hawaii.”

What advice would you give to a bride to be? “Relax! Don’t stress about the minute things and always keep in mind the real purpose of the day. It’s about that vow that you will take to love and cherish your partners forever.”
