Today’s real wedding actually happened back in April but I feel like the details could also inspire a great fall wedding!
Hello again! I’m Tilley, walking you through this weeks Real Wedding Wednesday! Lets dive in shall we?
The first detail that caught my eye about this wedding was the plaid shirts for getting ready! How darling! I don’t care where you shop, the kimonos everyone is wearing for getting ready lately can get pricey! Every girl has a plaid and it adds so much personality! That girl to the left of the bride is working it!
Savannah was a vision in this off white, lace bodice dress and I am loving her bouffant hair-do!
The groom stood out to me because of the pattern of his suit with coordinating vest! Something about a vest just adds a new level of sophistication.
It all took place at the Mill at Fine Creek and what a setting it was (heart eyes emoji)! Their sweet smiles are giving me all the feelings…
The bridesmaids all wore different dresses and they aced it. Go Savannah! Not many bridal parties can accomplish this look. I love the thistles in the bouquet too!
The men all wore matching neckties to tie their different suits together, another win in my book. I also find it very refreshing that the groomsmen to bridesmaid ratio is off…there’s no reason to add anyone not important to the most important day of your life just to make it even. It’s your day, be surrounded by those that mean the most and are going to do life with you!
The ceremony was outside in the courtyard and gave a rustic ambiance that looks warm and inviting.
Look at that sweet married couple… now bottoms up!
From the Bride:
Favorite detail from the day? “My father wrote a song for me, which he coordinated with Kyle on but I had no idea. He got in touch with our bluegrass band and practiced earlier the day of the wedding…The lyrics were beautiful, the music was perfect, and it was such a special moment for Kyle and I as we danced. Needless to say, there were tears shed.”
Your advice for a bride to be? “Don’t try to force the day into something particular. Yes, planning is important but on the actual day don’t focus on what “should” be happening or how you “should” feel. Take in the beauty and love surrounding you. Let the love and happiness between you and your spouse shine the brightest and allow your wedding day to take on its own personality.”
