Kristen, today’s fun loving Bride, was married to her love, Mat, last October at the Inn at Vint Hill in Warrington Virginia. The first time I (Tilley – VA Bride’s real wedding fanatic) saw the photos of their day, I fell in love with how they styled many of today’s wedding trends in fun and unique ways!
To start, these adorable white button downs for the ladies to get ready in. So classic!
And to top it off, she gifted them with the cutest and most dainty treasures to match each of their personalities. Thoughtful gifts are always the best. How cute is the pac man one?!?!
It has been a while since I have seen a bridal party of 12! They all look stunning in Kristen’s chosen color scheme of plum and dark orange :).
Kristen choose a strapless, side-swept dress with pearls and a sweet, flower-topped bun to complete her look. Her radiance is contagious…I find myself smiling ear to ear as I write this!
Her beaming groom is Mat and he is rockin’ that plum tie and grey suit!
Wanna know how they met? Working at American Eagle! Kristen snuck into the employee contact book to get his number and made the first move (you go girl). The first time they hung out, the conversation flowed for hours…such a real love story melts my heart!
These goofy groomsmen also make me so happy. Lol, that one dude looks like he is about to drop Mat!
When it came time for the ceremony, the couple wowed with the cutest details…
This adorable chalk board to tell all their attendees who is in the wedding party.
They decorated simple white chairs with burlap bows to set the stage.
The first time they saw each other on their wedding day, Kristen was walking down the aisle…how sweet is her face?! So much emotion **goosebumps y’all**
They wrote their own vows and said them in front of their families and friends. Mat looks like he’s never been happier!
After the ceremony, they took more photos and of course made time for some selfies #necessary.
The charming house made the perfect backdrop to commemorate this chapter in their love story.
Ahhh…what bliss 🙂
And just like that, it was time to party! These “stay classy” bottle openers are EVERYTHING!
The couple also had fun chalk board in the reception to keep everything on track. Such a cute way to plan the night!
Another cute feature…PIE! I absolutely LOVE that they had pie as their dessert! Nobody hates pie…(insert heart eye emojis)!
And, in my opinion, the best weddings end with sparklers 😉 congrats Kristen and Mat!
From the Bride:
What was your favorite detail from the day: “Our first dance went amazingly well (we did a salsa to hooked on a feeling by blue swede) and also instead of a cake we did a bunch of pies from this pie shop in vienna and they were all so good! Oh and both of us had surprisingly funny yet cute vows :)”
What advice would you give to a bride to be? “As long as you did your planning ahead of time, don’t worry! Even if it rains or some crazy relative brings a date you didn’t invite, everything will be fine! (I know because both of those things happened to me haha!)”
