Real Wedding Wednesday: Germica & Daryl

ST5A3139

Happy #WeddingWednesday ladies! Tilley here, bringing you a pastel wedding that will melt your heart. Germica and Daryl met by chance when they stopped in the same store. Germica got in line and Daryl picked up a few items to “coincidentally” end up in the same line. He carried her bags to her car like a true gentleman. Later on, the stars aligned for them and they began dating.

After 6 years together, they had their wedding at the Good Luck Cellars in the Northern Neck area of Virginia. Germica dreamt of a garden theme and the winery made the perfect setting.

She choose a lace bodice gown with buttons up the back. Love her shoe choice and especially the bird cage!

ST5A3531

She is flawless!

ST5A3545Keeping with the pastel theme, her bridesmaids wore aqua knee lengh dresses and her maid of honor wore peach.

ST5A3480 Daryl and his groomsmen looked sharp in light tan suits. I love how the color scheme is so springy and fun.

Daryl differentiated himself by wearing a matching paisley bow tie and vest.

Oh and we can’t forget that pocket square. Love it.

ST5A3522

These two are the cutest flower girl and ring bearer ever!

ST5A3332

They decided against doing a first look to keep with tradition and Germica said that seeing Daryl’s face as she came down the aisle was worth it! The outdoor ceremony looked beautiful!

What a sweet family <3

And y’all know I love the couples photos! With the sun setting behind them, it almost looks like a dream!

They moved indoors for the reception and partied the night away.

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

From the Bride:

What was your favorite detail? “The surprise dance me and my daughter did together…my husband had no idea. It was fun and exciting.”

What advice would you give to a bride to be? “Keep a short, simple bridal party. Numbers don’t matter and it adds to the headache of trying to keep track of everyone and making sure they can make the fittings and rehearsals etc. To narrow your numbers, think about the few people you could trust with your life and all your secrets. That should help keep your numbers to a reasonable amount and help with your decision on who should be maid of honor/best man.”
