These details are just the beginning of the beauty that is today’s real VA wedding that took place in September of last year at the Santillane in Fincastle, Virginia.
Brittany looked radiant as she got ready with her maids to see Dave for the first time. The pair met in college and became quite the team over years of dating.
She looks like a doll! Her eyelashes…her perfect pout! Britt, you could be a model! And I love the white bouquet with bits of eucalyptus!
Once they locked eyes, there was no separating them. So, so cute.
However, Brittany and Dave did have to experience what most brides and grooms fear…rain!
They totally rocked it though, and their photographer described the day as “more romantic” with the cool air and soft colors the clouds created.
Fortunately, their outdoor ceremony was covered and I’d have to agree with Chelsea (their photographer), this scene is perfection!
So rustic and sweet…
Y’all. Talk about adorable. An umbrella is an unexpected accessory for a bride but jeez, they make it look so sweet. And dad, still protecting his baby girl.
After the heart warming ceremony, her father passed the umbrella (so to speak 😉 ) to Dave, Brittany’s new protector.
The reception looked equally rustic and romantic as the ceremony. I love the fabric through the rafters. Such an easy way to make a big statement.
And how cute is their little cake?!
They danced how lovers do…
…and once the party was over they disappeared into the starry night as man and wife.
