Real Wedding Wednesday: Collin and Katie

Ok…fair warning: today’s real wedding is #cutenessOVERLOAD. I know y’all are going to love it as much as I, Tilley, do…so without further ado Collin and Katie’s wedding.

Collin and Katie were married last August at the House Mountain Inn in Lexington, Virginia, and holy cow…isn’t it GORGEOUS!? The endless greenery and rolling mountains set the perfect stage for their rustic wedding.

I can’t even get over the perfection!

The venue is actually owned by Katie’s parents, so it was almost as if she was getting married at her home, pup and all.

Katie glowed in a strapless dress and bejeweled headband.

Her maids wore dark purple knee length dresses and each carried a bouquet of sunflowers (Katie’s favorite) and hydrangeas.

Collin wanted to be surprised the first time he saw Katie, so they did not do a first look. She instead chose to do one with her father, and what a sweet moment it was…

All the feels.

Collin looked sharp in this 3 piece grey suit and bowtie. He posed for the cameras just before taking his place at the alter.

The ring bearers and flower girl were also as cute as can be. Love the “Hurry up, I want cake sign” so darn MUCH!

With both of her parents by her side, Katie walked down the aisle to marry Collin.

Under the most beautiful alter, they pledged forever to one another. Their smiles are everything.

And after they kissed, Collin scooped up his bride for a huge bear hug. Y’all. My. Heart. Can’t. Even. HANDLE. IT!

They exited with a cloud of bubbles and headed to take some couples portraits.

House Mountain Inn Virginia Richmond Virginia Wedding_0035Again, the smiles. You can tell there is so much love between these two.

House Mountain Inn Virginia Richmond Virginia Wedding_0027I don’t know them personally, but I am so darn happy for them! They are adorable!

The reception began with a toast from Katie’s dad and then it was party time. They chose a buffet and no assigned seating. I love the freedom and fun!

But wait, there’s more…how do you end the cutest wedding ever?

WITH AN EPIC FIREWORKS SHOW OF COURSE! Amazing. And look at him kissing her hand #socute.

Congrats to Katie and Collin on their marriage and winning the cutest wedding ever award!

From the Bride:

What was your favorite detail of the day? “My favorite detail of the day was that everyone was so happy and we all had such a great time. It was definitely the best day of our lives. The Jackass Flats played during the reception and they kept the party going all night! Everyone danced and had a great time. Towards the end of the evening we had a fireworks display that was out of this world! Beautiful!”

What advice would you give to a bride to be? “My advice for another bride would be to have fun and don’t worry about the little things. There will be a lot of people asking a billion questions and it can definitely be stressful at times. However, you really just have to look past it and focus on the beautiful and exciting day ahead of you.”
