Y’all. I thought it would never happen but I think I found a wedding that makes me want to redo my own! I, Tilley, filter through a ton of weddings to write this weekly post and these fall nuptials made me weak in the knees!
To start: These beautiful invitations pictured on fur. Slay.
Fur AND lace? All about it!
This is Claire. The mastermind behind this gorgeous day; to say she looks stunning is absolutely an understatement. That illusion neckline dress fits her perfectly and look at the back…
Ok, the full back of the dress is pictured a little lower in the post but her hair deserved a close up. Wow.
Claire’s rustic & romantic theme was personified with dark red bridesmaid dresses and the rolling hills covered in orange trees around Bluemont Vineyard.
Each of their bouquets had an EPIC garden rose (one of my favs) and a bit of extra lace from Claire’s dress tied around it.
This GQ model is Justin. He and Claire met as teammates on a co-ed soccer team. What can we learn from this? JOIN CO-ED TEAMS LADIES.
Justin contrasted his groomsmen in a dark suit and bow tie while they wore lighter suits and red ties. Sharp. Also…Does anyone else think he looks like the Property Brother’s long lost triplet? Sorry, off subject!
Back to the flawless wedding. How beautiful is this ceremony set up?! Seriously swooning…
And not only is Claire beautiful, but she is so caring and clever! I love that she had scarves out for their guests!
Claire and Justin didn’t do a first look to save the excitement of that moment for when they were with their friends and family at the ceremony. With all eyes on Claire, her father walked her down the aisle (told ya the back of the dress was amazing).
They said their vows and were united as one! What an EPIC moment! That arch way…the backdrop…the kiss. LOVE. IT. ALL.
Per usual, the photo-sesh ensued after but this couple was anything but standard…
MIC DROP. So fierce and pretty.
Yet, so loving and cute.
All the feels.
The beauty continued into the reception, and the place cards were far from ordinary.
THEY ARE GLASS MARKERS! So you can find your table AND put your name on your wine glass so no one will mistake it for theirs. How have I never thought of this?! So impressed.
So everyone drank, without mistake; ate till full; and danced the night away.
And this beautiful couple lived happily ever after.
From the Bride:
What was your favorite detail from the day? “I loved the flower arch that was the backdrop to our ceremony. The arrangement was simple yet beautiful and looked amazing against the view of the valley below the venue. We pretty much chose Bluemont for the view!”
What advice would you give to a bride to be? “Try to make sure you get as many pictures with people as possible, and get someone to take them on a smartphone so you have them right away (instant gratification)! I realized I didn’t get a single picture of just me and my grandmother and was bummed out. Also, get a videographer so you can relive the special moments!”
