Christian and Megan were married at the Sierra Vista in Bedford, VA last June and let me tell it you…it was a knock out! Just wait till you see the inside of this barn.
Megan looked like princess in her tulle skirt wedding gown. I love that the dresses she chose for her maids and flower girls have similar necklines. It creates a very uniform and classic look. Can we talk about those bouquets?! OMG, love!
The theme for their day was an overgrown enchanted forest and I am feeling that here with Edward Cullen, I meannnn Christian and his groomsmen 😉 #ilovetwilight
The pair met while attending an all-district choral event in high school. Since they were from separate high schools they may have never met if it wasn’t for that fateful day.
The stage was set with a gorgeous floral archway complete with a glass chandelier.
By her father’s side, Megan saw Christian for the first time that day walking down the aisle. You truly can see the adoration in her eyes.
Ahhh what a cute lip lock! The face grab…nice touch you two 😉
Their portraits radiate joy and love!
How breathtaking is this scene and her veil?!
What a perfect moment…
They brought the outdoors inside for the reception with tons of greenery. I told you the inside of the barn was epic!
Speaking of epic, I don’t think I have ever seen a more beautiful cake!
And just when you thought they couldn’t get any cuter, they had tea cups as favors!
I love it.
Congrats Megan and Christian! Your day was beautiful and clearly your love is as well!
From the Bride:
What was your favorite detail of the day? “I am torn between so many different events and I can hardly choose one! My top few would be our foot washing service during our actual ceremony, the feeling of hearing us be pronounced “man and wife”, our kiss!! Hearing everyone cheer as we were announced at our reception, my daddy singing Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman to me instead of a daddy/daughter dance or Christian’s and my first dance! The whole day was absolutely perfect! I could not have asked for more!!”
What advice would you give to a bride to be? “Enjoy ever minute!! We were engaged for a year and a half and that time just slipped by so quickly… and if the 1.5 year was fast, you can imagine how quickly the day went by! You only get to be engaged for a short while and you only get the one day to get married so take the time to enjoy and savor every second. Time together is precious!!”

One of the most fun weddings that I’ve had the pleasure to design! We had a blast and I loved every single moment of working with Meg and Christian.
