Real Wedding Wednesday: Cedric and Renee

Picture this: summer time, a gorgeous couple, a cute pup, and a SWEET venue. I, Tilley, am a summer girl myself, so today’s real VA wedding really inspired me! It took place at the Tides Inn in Irvington, VA, and I think  it might be on my list of 5 best venues in VA…

This is today’s sweet bride, Renee, on her way to see her soon to be husband, Cedric, for their first look. She wore a full lace gown and I am in awe.

Cedric’s face as he turned to see her is priceless.

Although the joy in that retrievers’ face might be just as cute. $10 says he is drooling lol. Look at that bow tie!!!

R4-E012Ahhh, what bliss.

Cedric and his groomsmen kept it classic in black suits and red striped ties.

The bridesmaids wore red lace, knee length dresses with cap sleeves. I love their different colored bouquets!

As guests walked in for the ceremony, they could snap a quick selfie and add it to the guest book with a note before taking their seats. Genius.

The sun shined down like a spotlight as Renee glided down the aisle.

In a moment that looked as if it was straight out of a storybook, they said their vows…

…and with a kiss to seal the deal, they were married!

The outdoor reception went from day to night and it was decorated perfectly. Not too much and not too little.

Gotta love a cute chalkboard…especially when it rhymes 😉 .

And this cake is a perfect fit for the day!

As night fell, guests could hang out around the fire and roast marshmallows for s’mores or…

…dance the night away like Renee probably did judging by her Badgley Mischka pumps pictured here in the dark by their lonesome 😉 .
