Real Wedding Wednesday: Cassandra & Allen

On a warm day in May, Cassandra and Allen were married at the Historic Riverview on the James. The romantic, vintage styled details of the day plus the overwhelmingly adorable smiles that the bride and groom shared made this a must-share wedding for me!

Cassandra said she met Allen when they were working together 11 years ago in college. They took lunch breaks together and when Valentine’s Day rolled around, Allen made his move with a giant teddy bear and chocolate. Good move, Allen 😉 .

Doesn’t her smile just light up your day?! Cassandra chose a strapless ballroom gown and added a beaded belt and flowing veil to complete her perfect bridal #ootd.

Allen also looked pretty darn sharp. He rocked a grey suit. I love the dark grey detail on the lapel and pockets.

You can surely tell he and his groomsmen like to have a good time! Such a cute pic of them! Very GQ.

The bridesmaids wore mint (my fav) one-shoulder gowns and carried bouquets of peach flowers to match Cassandra’s romantic vision.

The ceremony began with these two cuties.

And although they were a tough act to follow, Cassandra stunned as she walked down the aisle. Her smile is unforgettable!

With the James River in the background, they became man and wife! What a beautiful scene!

Now for my favorite part: the couples portraits. Tears are welling up in my eyes right now! So cute. So happy.

I just love them so much!

The party continued under this beautiful tent.

They danced…

AND THEN! Cassandra stunned again by making an outfit change for her bouquet toss and exit. Ummm…where can I get that dress?!
