Happy #weddingWednesday loves! Tilley here bringing you this weeks gorgeous wedding that took place at the Westin in Alexandria, VA. Alicia and Martin met after they both got out of bad relationships and tried a dating website. They never dreamed “the one” would show up via the internet.
I was especially drawn to Alicia’s nuptials because of her oh so glamorous style! I mean…look at those shoes! Plus the “Mrs. Martin” sneakers are the cutest darn things I’ve ever seen.
And there was so much bling in this day! I love the brooch on the bouquet and wait until you see the cake!
As she got ready, her maids were caught snapping a selfie and looking so fierce I might add. This is def my new favorite way to show off bridesmaids: in their natural habitat, lol. I know my girls took selfies for what felt like an hour in their dresses.
Her dress was fit for a princess. You can never go wrong with a beaded sweetheart neckline and full tulle skirt.
After her momma helped her put on her jewelry, she was ready to go see her groom! Love your dress too, mom 😉
Speaking of the groom, here he is. Just smiling the way a groom does on that big and special day. #adorbs
The ceremony took place inside and after the ring bearer came down the aisle holding a sign saying “Ring Security” (SO CUTE), it was Alicia’s turn.
Congrats to the beautiful couple!
And what a sharp looking bridal party!
The pink is so classic and fun. And I love their matching necklaces!
Martin and his groomsmen look like they walked straight out of a James Bond movie in their tuxedos. Super cute that he has a black bowtie and they have white ones. Great idea!
The reception was full of sequin table clothes and gold decor, a bride after my own heart.
This cake is everything! I am obsessed with the shape of it too! Rounds and hexagons, brilliant.
Alicia and Martin looked like royalty at their rose gold sweetheart table! Look at those chairs!
This pic of the bride and her friends is too cute! So fun loving!
Ladies, let me tell you. If you are considering having a photo booth at your wedding, do it. I had one too and it was one of the funnest parts of the day! I am sure Alicia would agree.
Plus, then everyone gets to take home a souvenir! Some photo booths will even email your pics to you immediately so you can post them on social media! Isn’t technology amazing?
I am sure, it was a night to remember!
From the bride:
Favorite detail from the day: “I was more than overjoyed and loved absolutely everything so it’s impossible to choose just one! Overall I will say that my favorite part was seeing how happy and excited all of our family and friends were. My husband and I set a goal; and that was to NOT have a boring wedding!!! 🙂 I think we accomplished that as we are still receiving rave reviews about how amazingly fun our big day was.”
