Real Wedding Wednesday: Alex and JC

On a private family estate in Plainview, Virginia, Alex and JC had the cutest quaint wedding that I am so excited to share with you this week!

They set the stage with rustic stationary. I am obsessed with their wooden Save the Dates!

Alex got ready inside with her family and styled her hair in the most exquisite up-do!

After a first look with her father, where he presented her with this sweet handkerchief (cue the waterworks), it was time to walk down the aisle.

  The ceremony began with the most adorable flower girls walking barefoot, hand in hand.

Followed by an equally adorable ring bearer who looks to be taking his job very seriously, lol.

Then, the wedding march played and down walked Alex and her father. The look on her face is one of pure happiness and anticipation. 

Under this epic tree, they said their vows. I cannot get over the beauty of this scene. The benches were filled with family, the aisle lined in petals and the giant tree was complete with a chandelier…perfection.

With a kiss, they sealed their love!

The day continued with joy-filled couples portraits. I love that they chose such a soft setting and complimented it with neutral florals so that the couple really stood out.

To me, this moment looks truly blissful. Nothing quite like walking hand in hand down an old dirt road with the love of your life.

Also, lets just take another moment to appreciate Alex’s stunning hair-do! She was truly glowing!

The outdoor reception took place under a large tent. The dance floor was surrounded with farmhouse tables for dining and beautiful details.

This table displayed a photo of a lost loved one. Such a great way to remember someone you wish were there.

They also had a biscuits and jelly station! This is my kind of wedding (all the heart eye emojis)!

And the bar? Of course, it is nestled under a tree with the perfect chandelier-holding limb. Love it.

Alex and JC, you have set the bar high with your chandeliers, biscuits, and adorable reception kisses! We wish you all the best!
