Real VA Wedding: Kelly and Austin

Today’s bride and groom were married this past St. Patrick’s Day at the Amber Grove in Moseley, Virginia.
After being buttoned into her stunning lace gown, Kelly headed out to show off her look to her bridal party!
I am loving this group pose! The colors are perfection too!
Then, instead of a first look, Kelly met up with her groom to exchange vows before the ceremony. How sweet is Austin’s face?!
Kelly’s brothers walked her down the aisle…
…and they sealed the deal with a kiss!
Don’t they make a beautiful couple?!
Austin and Kelly actually met in high school and stayed friends throughout college. “He asked me out over the course of our friendship four times before I said yes!” Kelly said.
Good thing you never gave up, Austin!
The reception took place in the pavilion and was decorated simply with white linens and beautiful greenery!
I love their guest book idea of photos being taken and deposited into this box for them to look at later!
They were as sweet as can be during their first dance.
Congratulations Kelly and Austin!
From the Bride:
What was your favorite detail of the day? “My favorite part of the day was the actual ceremony itself! It felt like time stopped and we were just really able to soak it in and stand together and make our commitment to each other.”
What advice would you give to a bride to be? “Have a hard and fast budget decided before any planning because it will add up quickly! Spreadsheets are your friend I lived by mine! But the most important thing is to remember that it is just one day and that if things aren’t perfect, it’s okay. You probably won’t even notice! Try and allow yourself to relax (easier said than done, I know) and soak up the joy with your new spouse!”
