The love between Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann might be one of my favorite movie loves of all time. Sure, they spend almost the entirety of the third movie pretty much broken up but not really, but they really find each other in the end, and that’s what counts! I do hope, however, that your Pirates of the Caribbean wedding will not be conducted in the middle of a fight to the death between three ships in the middle of a hurricane.
This wasn’t the dress I was looking for when I began my epic search. I was looking specifically for a corset gown, since that was what started this whole theme for me! But when I saw this gown from Eden Bridals, it just seemed perfect. The entire gown just seemed like something Elizabeth herself would wear. It’s classy and understated, while maintaining a vintage feel and the ability to make any woman feel gorgeous.
This bouquet, from Eclectic Images Blog, is the same as from the bridal party. I still love the disheveled look it gives while still having complete control. It’s gorgeous and the colors fit perfectly!
I ADORE these boots from the Alice in Weddingland blog! I searched for them after trying to think of the type of shoes Elizabeth would wear, and they just fit. They’re perfect for the vintage feel since the films are set in the 1800’s, and you’ll feel so adorable and elegant in them!
This hair clip is very similar to the one we used in the bridal party look, but less color. I wanted it to be a little more vintage and elegant than something to pop out, and I think this definitely does the job! Get it for yourself on Etsy.
This necklace is one of my favorite finds ever. I can’t even remember how I found it, but I found it a few weeks ago just searching around on Pinterest and it’s probably the most perfect subtle reference I could ever hope for. Available on Amazon, this necklace has the design that reminds people of the sea, while, quite literally, featuring it’s own Black Pearl. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried, guys.
It’s the little things that count. Like these earrings from Studio Chiyori! The red fits with the theme and gives the look a little pop of color, and they’re made from sea glass. Jack Sparrow himself would be proud. Maybe. If you gave him rum and didn’t burn it all to make a smoke signal.
We are officially At World’s End. Ba dum chhhh. Sorry, I like word plays. What did you think of this Pirates of the Caribbean theme? Would you do one for yourself? What theme would you like to see next? Let us know, and I’ll see you next week with a brand new theme! Please like below to make me smile.
