A little rain can’t stop true love or romantic proposals!
How romantic is the guy taking his girlfriend to a tree in the woods where they carved their initials to propose even if it’s pouring down rain from Hurricane Matthew?
That’s what happened this morning – the engagement just happens to be my daughter, Danielle to her boyfriend, PJ.
Of course I was in on this from the beginning, and since PJ has helped with our bridal shows over the years since he has been dating Danielle, he just may have learned a thing or two about weddings, romance, and proposals!
They went back to The Northern Neck were both of our families are from, and he proposed in front of the tree in his parent’s woods.
And today is also my mother’s 89th birthday- my mother and my father were very good friends with PJ’s grandparents.
