Have you ever stood in front of your closet wondering what to wear on a day to day basis? It’s amazing as women how many different items we can own yet sometimes you don’t want to wear any of it! Even worse is when you have to attend a WEDDING! You browse through each dress trying to figure out what is appropriate and what will fit. You almost wish you had a hand guide telling you the do’s and don’ts for guests. Well…we have read your minds!!
I found an amazing blog “A Style Love Affair” written by three beautiful fashion stylists. They each have their own style which anyone can identify with. We met and decided that we all need a little help when it comes to feeling stylish and comfortable with what we wear to weddings.
First, I am going to start with Rachel
Rachel’s style is classic and elegant although she is never afraid to change it up. Here you see her in an elegant blue dress. For a winter wedding, Rachel decided to wear a formal dress that is bold but is not distracting. The length of the dress is very appropriate for a formal winter wedding. She has also paired her dress with a clutch and a pair of nude open-toed heels.
Kendal’s style is best described as bohemian chic and colorful. Here she is wearing a deep red dress with beautiful lace cap sleeves. For a winter wedding this works because she keeps it formal and classy with her dress but she has fun with her accessories. Notice her gold bracelet and clutch that match her heels, giving her consistency through her outfit.
Last but not least, In…
In’s style is edgy and iconic. She is constantly pushing the limit with bold fashion choices. She wears a bold fuchsia hi-low dress. For a winter wedding this works because the length in the front isn’t too short yet she balances it out with the length of the back of the dress. She pairs her outfit with black chunky heels, long dangly earings and a clutch.
I hope this helps for your fashion dilemmas !! New style advice from “A Style Love Affair” will be available later this spring. Don’t forget to come to the next Virginia Bride Show on February 16 at the Richmond Raceway Complex from 1pm-5pm. Can’t wait to see you there!
