Virginia Bride Magazine and Virginia Wedding Locations Magazine attended the grand opening of Richmond’s newest wedding venue- Dover Hall near Goochland on Sunday- November 10th.

The theme of the party was ” Party Like Gatsby” and they certainly lived up to this expectation!

On arriving to the sweeping estate- guests were greeted with an array of vintage cars at the entrance of the grand mansion. VIP guests arrived at 5:00 to enjoy champagne, a tour of the estate, make-up and hair touch up by the venue’s in house make-up staff as well as selecting vintage and fine jewelry pieces provided by William Jefferies Jewelers to wear for the evening.

Virginia Bride Magazine Publisher – Angeline Frame- arrived in style in a limousine provided by Anytime Limousines.

Several live bands were playing and later in the evening- tunes were played by a live DJ.

There were over 300 guests in attendance in varying black tie and flapper styled dress, an abundance of food & drink and upon leaving guests could enjoy a crepe at the take out truck. A magnificent cake provided by Cakes by Graham and stunning décor by FloraCulture added to the decadent event.

This newest luxe wedding venue will certainly be one of a kind for Richmond area wedding venues.
