Breakfast at Tiffany’s Style Inspiration – Bridal
Darlings, we’re going back to the basics on this one.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized how simple I wanted this look to be. Audrey and the movie are both examples of pure class, and I wanted this look to reflect that! I spent awhile searching for the perfect elements, and I hope you enjoy this final installment of my Breakfast at Tiffany’s series!
Finding this dress was a great experience: this designer, at Pearl Bridals, has an entire line of dresses perfect for this theme! I chose this one both because of the simplicity and the low back. I really wanted the back to be open for draping pearls. I really love the bodice of this dress and the end of it, how it flows out. Any classy Breakfast at Tiffany’s bride will look amazing in this! I’m also a huge fan of the birdcage veil!
The bouquet, from Art Fire, fits this theme perfectly! I wanted this bouquet to have some of the same qualities, but be more exuberant than the bouquet in the bridal party style. That bouquet also had gems in the buds (although I suggested switching them out for pearls!), and this one has pearls already, which I love! All of the blue ribbons add that pop needed to make this look so gorgeous.
I used these glasses in the bridal party look, and I was going to take them out as I normally would, but I thought the bride should have them as well! You may choose not to wear them at the altar (although, my brother-in-law wore sunglasses at the altar at his wedding to my sister, and it was awesome!), but they will be a lot of fun for pictures and the reception! You can find them at Sunglass Warehouse.
I love these shoes from Perfect Details. I obviously wanted blue shoes for the bride, since I opted to not use them for the bridal party. It can also work as your something blue! These shoes are simple enough to go perfectly with the dress but still look gorgeous enough to show off, as I know you’ll want to!
These pearls are 72 inches long. You know what that means? Layering and draping them down your back, which this dress is perfect for! I absolutely love this idea. It’s so vintage and gorgeous, goes perfectly with the theme as Holly loved pearls over diamonds and, again, will look absolutely AMAZING in photos! You can get these at Lord & Taylor!
Finally, the iconic pictures of Aubrey Hepburn herself are for inspiration for your hair! I love her perfectly coiffed updo. I even love her little crown! Any skilled hair stylist should be able to handle a look as iconic as Audrey’s. If it’s a little much for you, but you still want a classic look that is similar, consider a french twist for your locks!
I hope you enjoyed having Breakfast at Tiffany’s with me these past three weeks! Let me know what you think in the comments, like the post and come back next week for the next wedding style! I’m really excited about this next one, but you’ll have to come back to see what it is…
