Darlings, I implore you to come with me to Tiffany’s for the next three weeks. You beautiful brides are going to be eating Danish pastries and throwing a marvelous party that Audrey Hepburn herself would be proud to be a part of!
A Breakfast at Tiffany’s wedding will obviously have that signature Tiffany’s blue as one of the main colors. I like the idea of using silver and ivory as the secondary colors to represent the diamonds and pearls that Tiffany’s is so known for.
I love this centerpiece from Catch My Party. And as a DIY type of girl, I keep thinking how I can sit around my living room watching Netflix and stringing those beads together myself in the months prior to the wedding. It wouldn’t be too difficult to make something like this yourself, and the blue ribbons you can slightly see at the top are gorgeous. Another plus? Bows are hot this season, so stick those in that gorgeous blue ribbon on top and you can consider yourself trendy at the same time!
As for other decorations, I think these little candles are adorable!
I like the idea of using the large centerpieces from before on the head table/sweetheart table, whatever you choose to have at your reception! And then, you can use these candle holders with some votives inside and create a great atmosphere for your guests.
Holly Golightly knows how to have fun and be herself. She’d definitely make sure to have a drink available for her darlings!
This picture is from Entirely Eventful Day. Although I’m fairly certain that the drink in this picture is non-alcoholic, I prefer the idea of having a bit of a treat for your ladies. This recipe, from Cocktail Atlas, will be roughly the same blue color as the one in this picture. Mix equal parts Hpnotiq (a blend of fruit juices, vodka and cognac) and white wine with ginger ale. You have the option of making it as strong or as weak as you want with the amount of ginger ale you choose to add! In addition, there are many options for blue drinks of the non-alcoholic variety, so you can have both available for your guests!
But from what should you drink your delicious, blue beverage? Don’t worry darlings, I have you covered.
I love this glass! It’s adorable and the quote from the movie just fits a wedding so perfectly! You can find it on Etsy. You could consider having them as your bridesmaids’ gifts and all of you drink out of them during the reception.
And of course, no wedding is complete without a cake.
I found this cake at Cake Central. I have two favorite parts of this cake. The first is the bow, which we already discussed is hot this season, and will match the bigger centerpieces. The second is the New York skyline going along the bottom of the cake. I think that is such a great touch on the part of the cake designer! It really pulls the whole thing together.
My venue suggestion for holding a Breakfast at Tiffany’s wedding is a place I’m excited about: Trump Winery, located in Charlottesville.
This venue has so many options and it lends itself perfectly to such a classy theme. And, coincidences of coincidences, Trump Winery also happens to be the venue of the upcoming Greater Virginia Bridal Show on the 28th! Which of you wonderful brides are going? I hope to see you all there!
I can’t wait until next week’s bridal party look of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you ALL for getting Game of Thrones over 50 likes – that’s amazing, and I’m so grateful you ladies love these styles! If there are any suggestions, feel free to comment on this post, and please like it while you’re at it! I can’t wait to be back next week!
