I have a confession to make: when I graduated college, (GO JMU DUKES!), I decorated my cap with Beauty and the Beast. In case you’re wondering, it was with the quote “I want so much more than they’ve got planned” and involved rhinestones and glitter bows. I also mentioned the movie in one of my thank-you letters during my time on the editorial board of JMU’s yearbook, The Bluestone. My point is, I really love Beauty and the Beast. So I’m really excited to reveal the bridal look for one of my all-time favorite movies!
Alfred Angelo really loves to make my job easy for me. Their Disney Fairy Tale line has been one of my favorite things in the world since it was created back in 2010, so every time I do a Disney theme, I don’t even bother to look elsewhere. This Belle-inspired dress is from the newest 2015 line of the Disney Fairy Tale dresses. I absolutely love the new style of pick-ups and the addition of the roses along the skirt. The faint yellow in the bodice is amazing as well! You’ll definitely feel like a princess once you’re laced into this beauty.
LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes I found on Wedding Dash. They are perfectly adorable and vintage, and Belle obviously loves her bows. What sells me is the fact that they actually look comfortable, which I know every bride is concerned with.
I’ve never wanted anything on my ears more than I’ve wanted these earrings from Etsy. They are gorgeous! They look exactly like something Belle would wear. If anyone wants to send them to Emma Watson and let her know that she needs to wear them during the ballroom scene in the upcoming live-action version (who else is excited?!), then please do. And also tell her I expect this exact look at the end of the movie when they get married. Thanks!
This bouquet is the same as the one from the bridal party look, and I still love it. It’s rustic and sophisticated at the same time, and, I mean…roses. What more can you ask?
I’m normally against putting engagement rings in these looks for the sole reason that by the time you get married and need this look, you’ll already have the ring I’m sure. Also many women aren’t involved in choosing the ring. But this is too perfect! I couldn’t resist. Find this ring on Etsy.
And finally, I did promise in the bridal party look that the bridal hair would be even more extravagant than the one I used for the bridesmaids. And I personally think I delivered! This hair is a perfect, non-cheesy and gorgeous almost replica of the hair that Belle herself sports in the ballroom scene. I found it on Venue Lust.
