If there’s any time worthy of being a superhero, it’s when you’re getting married. So why not take advantage of it?

This week is the bridal party look for the the Marvel spectacular, The Avengers. Working on these for you wonderful ladies is making me very excited for the sequel as well…

Avengers Bridal Party

As discussed last week, our colors for this Avengers wedding are red, blue and black. This dress from Jordan comes in many swatches, although I could only get the picture in grey (on the other hand, I kind of like that as well). I like this dress because we’re trying to keep this wedding very high-end, and this dress encapsulates that as well as bringing in a casual side (to go along with the guys wearing superhero T-shirts underneath their tuxes!). Personally, I would put the dresses in the Royal blue that Jordan has available, since the bouquet showcases the red. Speaking of the bouquet…

This bouquet made me actually laugh when I realized the reference hidden inside it. I found it from One Wed. I was really just searching for a good red and blue bouquet, and what I love about this is that the blue color actually comes from blueberries instead of flowers. There are two reasons for my intense affinity for this: 1. It makes the bouquet look a lot less like the Fourth of July and more like a good color combination and 2. Robert Downey Jr. snuck blueberries onto the set while filming the Avengers and ate them during filming, and offered them to Captain America. It’s all in the movie — next time you watch it, keep in mind none of that was scripted. That was just RDJ being RDJ. For that reason, I found this bouquet to be absolutely perfect!

The necklace is another Iron Man reference (can you tell who my favorite Avenger is?). It’s the piece of his chest that makes him Iron Man. It goes with the color scheme and will look gorgeous with the dress, plus it’s probably something your girl will enjoy wearing after the wedding! I found it on rebloggy.com.

As for the shoes, I wanted something glam that would still look awesome with the dress. I love these shoes because the rhinestones all over them will really add that pop and bring to mind all of the shiny aspects of the movies (Iron Man’s suit, Thor’s hammer and the Tesseract). They might hate you after the end of the night if they have issues walking in heels, but personally, I love the opportunity to look glam for a night!

Come back next week for my insight into how to style yourself after The Avengers. The bridal look is always my favorite one! Please like and comment and let me know what you think!
