As everyone knows the impending marriage of Prince William to Kate Middleton will be taking place on April 29, 2011. Virginia Bride has been researching what brides are doing here in Virginia to reflect the royal wedding with their own wedding.  One of our contributing writers, Angela Courser of Corsair Floral and Decor is overseeing a very exciting local wedding in Roanoke on April 30th. The wedding is being held at Sundara a beautiful and romantic venue right outside of Roanoke. The entire flair of this wedding is going to be themed as American classic edged with royalty.  There will be a bridal luncheon and tea with English bone china place settings in petite blue floral with a silver banding. The rehearsal dinner will be served at “The Royal Stables” and will feature casual Americana barbecue cuisine decorated with English riding gear. This wedding is truly going to be a “royal Roanoke wedding and should prove very memorable for the couple, family and guests. Neal Nance of Posh Events will transform the tented reception area into a fairytale with lighting, draping, and lit crystal chandeliers. Be sure to watch for the full wedding details with exciting photos in our winter/spring issue  2012 of Virginia Bride as this wedding will be one of the Real Virginia Weddings featured in this issue.
