A Sharper Palate

Like many lofty dreams, A Sharper Palate had humble origins. In 1993, three partners sat at a small table in a converted doughnut shop and created what would become the core of our business beliefs. From the beginning, we knew we wanted to be a different kind of catering company.

Our goal was a simple yet ambitious one. To bring the kind of catered food and service to the Richmond area that would rival those found in Virginia’s finest restaurants and bistros. We have achieved this through 25 years of working and refining our skills in top hotels and restaurants-like the Grand Hotel in Hong Kong, the Oasis and Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo, the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida, Lutece in New York City and La Maisonette in Richmond.
