Adventure is out there, at least for those brides willing to follow me!

For the next three weeks, we’ll be following in the footsteps (housesteps?) of Mr. Frederickson and Russell from Up! Oh, and Doug. We can’t forget Doug.

For this theme, there are so many color schemes you could have, but I’ve chosen to go with purple and a light yellow. There are also many directions you could in for this theme, so check out my ideas for your ceremony and reception!

I got this picture from 9weddingwebsites. While this particular color scheme isn’t great for an Up-themed wedding, the balloon decorations are perfect! So many times, balloons are used in decorations and it just looks sad and unsophisticated, and I know you ladies want better than that! You would never necessarily need helium in them if they are attached to the drapery on top (which is another cute idea for decorations!).

I made this little collage myself. The first picture of the jugs are the ones that I suggest buying for your wedding, and they can be found at Laurel Leaf Farm. The second picture is a great idea of what you can do with it! It’s from Magical Day Weddings. Put out jugs for people’s spare change for your honeymoon (which may or may not be to Paradise Falls). Not comfortable having jugs for money? Make it a game with a prize! Put chocolate pieces inside, or something similar. But chocolate would go well considering that’s what lured Kevin to the clan!

Need an idea for your guest book? Look no further! I love having a DIY “adventure book” out for everyone to sign! Have everyone write down their ideas for adventures for your marriage, be it date ideas, tips and tricks, or anything else they feel like writing. People would have a lot of fun coming up with ideas, and it’s very fitting for your theme and something immediately recognizable.

And finally, the picture that needs to happen:

This is so adorable I can’t even handle it. Please have your photographer get this photo. I found it on a blogspot blog called Party Favors Ideas.

I already have some great ideas for the bridal party post for next week! Comment with your opinion on an Up wedding, and like the post at the bottom so I know you’ve been here! Thanks everybody!
