As a Bride, it’s important to pick your vendors wisely. Each and every Bride has her own style and a vision of what her important day is going to look like. With that being said, it is easy to go and pick out the first vendor you see purely to get the “dreaded” wedding planning out of the way. Sometimes you need to explore your options to make sure your style and needs are taken of.That’s why at Virginia Bride Magazine we offer many different vendors to choose from at our Bridal Shows.
Here are some helpful tips to narrow down your vendors:
1. Research: I’m not asking you to write a ten page paper about your vendors. Nor am I asking for a lot of your time. Research can be a fun experience for both you and your groom. Take the time to explore where you live; many local vendors cater weddings. Say you were having a donut bar at your wedding! Why not find all the donut shops and go to the ones that interest you. Now, be careful sampling donuts because one always leads to a dozen! You will quickly find which vendors impress you and will go out of their way to make your day perfect. All you have to do is a little extra research…
2. Budget: As most of you know, planning a wedding can be hard on the wallet. As a bride with a budget, you have to know when some vendors are not a good option. If you have a small wedding most likely you will be able to budget for the vendors of your choosing. Now, if you have 250 guest coming to your wedding and are on a budget, you may want to rethink those expensive french donuts and head to the local donut shop down the street. You have to be willing to part ways with vendors because not all of them are catered for you. The important thing to remember is to stick to your budget and keep your options open until you find that vendor who offers exactly what you are looking for.
3. Style: Each and every Bride has a very particular style. You may want a wedding that makes you feel like a princess or a wedding in the outdoors and where you party all night long. Just remember that the vendors you choose have particular styles. Make sure to sit down with them and see what they can do. This is another easy way to narrow down the list of which vendors are right for you.
Happy planning ladies!!
