Welcome to 2015, Virginia brides. And what better way to start a new future than to take a ride in the TARDIS with The Doctor?

I’m pretty excited about this one, and I hope everyone else is too! I have some awesome ideas for the ceremony and reception! First of all, I think these wedding colors should be TARDIS blue and silver, with some black thrown in. The overall look should be modern and quirky!

Doctor Who Wedding Guest Book

Guest books are always so much fun; one shaped like a TARDIS is even better! This was originally on Etsy. The pages inside are blank, so your guests are welcome to write as much or as little as they want, so encourage them to get creative! Leave some paints and stickers and other scrapbooking materials on the table and let your guests visit the likes of Da Vinci in the TARDIS.

Doctor Who Wedding Favor

Trying to crack open bottles? Consider leaving some TARDIS keys for your guests as favors! As well as being cute, they’re also practical. I actually have a key that’s a bottle opener on my keychain, and it’s so convenient, so your guests will appreciate a favor that’s so practical. Another plus? You can use them as escort cards and tie every guest’s name to the keys! These were on Buzzfeed.

Doctor Who Wedding Cake

Can you say “Cutest Cake Ever”? I think what I love about this Doctor Who cake the most is that it still looks and feels like a wedding cake without being overly nerdy.  It makes you want to go time traveling! (Or visit alternate universes. Or go defeat some Daleks. Whatever you want!). Unfortunately, this cake does not have an original source. If you know what it is, leave a comment and I’ll be sure to add it! In the meantime, what are you going to cut the cake with?

Doctor Who Wedding Cake Cutters

TARDIS cake cutters from Etsy. That’s what. The Doctor would be proud, any one of them!

As for the venue, I have a cute place for it!

Doctor Who Wedding Venue

The Carlyle Club in Alexandria! I know I’ve used this one before, but it’s so modern and fun that I couldn’t resist using it again. The lighting can be manipulated to be all blue and you have so many options available to you with this venue!

Oh, and before you leave, throw this on your getaway car:

Doctor Who Wedding Decal

From Etsy.

I am SO excited to do the bridal party look for next week! The fashion using inspiration from this iconic show is going to be amazing, and I’m so excited to put it together for you! Leave a comment telling me what you think. Who’s your favorite Doctor? What do you hope to see in the upcoming looks? Please like below, and I hope to see you all next week!
