Darlings, I have to admit. I thought this one was going to be very easy. But I had a lot more trouble with this than I thought I would! The ceremony and reception was relatively easy, compared to some of the others, so I thought that a Breakfast at Tiffany’s bridal party would be even easier! I was wrong.

The thing is, I knew what I wanted to do, but incorporating both the classic Audrey Hepburn look and the actual idea of Tiffany’s is so much harder than I thought it would be! But luckily for you, I figured something out! Hint: I have three great reasons in this look for your bridesmaids to love you more than they already do!

Breakfast at Tiffany's

At first, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go with a Tiffany-blue dress or the classic LBD (little black dress!). In the end, I thought that if a wedding was going to be themed after Breakfast at Tiffany’s, instead of just Tiffany & Co, then Audrey had to make more of a standout than just that gorgeous Tiffany blue. I found this dress at Ebay, and get this: it’s less than $50!

I know. I’ll wait until you catch your breath.

If your bridesmaids didn’t already love you, they do now! The dress will fit comfortably and isn’t too revealing, which some ladies aren’t comfortable with when standing in front of a crowd. This LBD will look great on all of your girls, and they’ll feel amazingly classy the whole night!

I thought for a long time what I wanted out of the bouquet. What I love about this is that it’s not all blue, but the accents on it bring that bit of Tiffany’s to it in a way that doesn’t overpower the theme! I’m not sold on the little gems in the roses; however, I like the idea of switching them out with pearls. Holly Golightly preferred pearls over diamonds (diamonds are too old for her!), so I think that would add a classy touch while letting those blue blooms take the spotlight. I found this bouquet on A Floral Affair.

The sunglasses would make a perfect bridesmaid gift! Holly loved to wear her sunglasses indoors and out, and she looked smashing in them! You can make the choice for your girls to wear them while up at the altar with you or not, but I believe either way would work! It really depends on your personal style. Either way, your girls will love their gifts that they definitely will end up using, and be grateful to you for them! You can find these sunglasses at Sunglass Warehouse.

I love these pieces of jewelry for the look. The earrings are from Etsy, and will add a nice pop of blue to the black dress. The bracelet, also from Etsy, incorporates both the pearls that Holly and Audrey herself are so known for and more of the blue to keep that in the look. I love the idea of keeping everything very basic and adding just pops of color, and I think these pieces do that perfectly!

The rings at the bottom don’t look like much, I know. But follow me on this: do you remember the Cracker Jack ring that “Fred” gave to Holly? It was much like these ones from Ebay! They can be another gift to your girls, and you can even have them engraved like Holly’s was! Although I very much doubt Tiffany’s will do it for less than $10 as they did in the movie. If only we still lived in 1961…

And last, but not least, the shoes. I considered going bold with the shoes and finding ones in the blue color, but I truly believe that right should be given to the bride. Plus, these ones complete the look so much better! And, as a bonus, I have the third reason your bridesmaids will love you: the heels aren’t very high at all, meaning they won’t be cursing your footwear choices while standing at the altar with you! (Not that they would do that anyway, but why give them any reason to?) These shoes are from DSW, and won’t break the bank either!

I hope you all enjoyed these ideas for Breakfast at Tiffany’s! I’d appreciate any likes and comments! I’d also like to take a moment to say how grateful I am that these posts seem to be getting more attention recently, and I can’t even begin to express how happy that makes me! I’d love to incorporate your ideas, so feel free to comment with your suggestions or thoughts as well! You brides are amazing; you really are.

I hope to see all of you on Sunday at the Greater Virginia Bridal Show at Trump Winery in Charlottesville this coming Sunday! I’m very excited about it, and I hope all of you are as well! I will see you all next week for the bridal look for Breakfast at Tiffany’s! Until next week darlings!
