We recently had a vendor in one of our bridal shows- a weight loss company called Isagenix.
The company founded in 2002 , boasts a product line of nutrient- laden, mineral -rich, organic ingredients including Cleanse for Life, a product that causes the elimination of toxins and fat from the body.
I decided to try the program, since being almost fifty, I have found I have picked up a few extra pounds!
The product truly works and consists of drinking healthy shakes for two meal replacements along with several of their other products for speeding up your metabolism. They even have chocolate you can eat to stave off cravings!
In just under 2 weeks I have lost 7 pounds and 7 inches! I feel much better and have a lot more energy!
For brides who want to loose some weight before your big day- give this a try! This program also encourages a complete lifestyle change to reduce obesity- related illnesses.
I was also impressed that my rep followed up with me after ordering the products to go over in detail how everything should be taken as well as she emailed several times to see my progress.

Virginia Bride Magazine is preparing for the first annual Greater Virginia Bridal Show at The John Marshall on Sunday February 26th from 1-5 P.M.
This show is set to be the most memorable and unique bridal show to be held in Richmond! For starters- guests will get to preview the stunning renovation of the John Marshall and the ballrooms. Even the original crystal chandeliers have been restored to their former glory in the main ballroom.
Some of the most respected and oldest names in the Richmond bridal business will be showcased at this show – sure to help any guest find all of the right bridal services for their weddings! Over the top displays are planned as well as great food and dessert samples, beautiful products to give all great ideas for the latest in trends.
Guests can enjoy watching the designer fashion show presented by Alfred Angelo and David’s Bridal from the balcony of the main ballroom or in seating below in front of the stage. The Models will enter from the upstairs balcony and make their way down the grand stairs to the stage. After the show has concluded at 5:00 everyone can stay to watch four of Richmond’s favorite bands perform live! A true after party for all following this memorable show!

Virginia Bride Magazine is preparing for the first annual Greater Virginia Bridal Show at the newly restored John Marshall Ballrooms in Richmond – Sunday, February 26th from 1-5.
The restoration of the ballrooms have taken the rooms back to the glamour of the 1920′s era when the John Marshall first opened as a hotel.
The decor in the John Marshall is very chic and we are excited to host our bridal show here as one of the first public events since the ballrooms have re-opened as an event venues.
The fashion show featuring Alfred Angelo and David’s Bridal will be held in the main ballroom on the stage; guests can be seated on the balcony above to watch the show or in seating in front of the stage. David’s bridal will be showcasing a famous designer’s gowns in this show seen for the first time in Richmond!
There will be over 40 of Richmond’s finest vendors displaying their services and products- including photographers, DJS, florists, cakes, jewelry, and much more. So guests can leave this show with all of their wedding needs. To see a complete list of vendors visit our website.
The bridal show will end with an ” after party” showcasing four popular bands provided by East Coast Entertainment. So everyone will get to enjoy a mini- concert as they enjoy refreshments.
There will be thousands of dollars in prizes and discounts given away at the show- the grand prize is a five day Carnival cruise to the Bahamas!

Hundreds came out to visit with the finest wedding professionals in the New River Valley.

The show is hosted by Virginia Bride Magazine and will showcase the finest vendors in the New River Valley.
The runway show will feature designer wedding gowns by Chantilly Lace Bridal of Blacksburg, Virginia.

Virginia Bride Magazine along with a selected ” Dream Team” of wedding vendors ran a six month contest for one couple in Virginia to win the wedding of their dreams!
The contest concluded on Sunday- January 22nd at their annual Greater Virginia Bridal Show in Roanoke- where the wedding will be held by local Roanoke area vendors.
During the five hour bridal show the expectation built as everyone breathlessly waited for the show to draw to a close.
At quarter to five- Virginia Bride’s publisher and show producer- Angeline Frame called to the stage- the members of the “Dream Team” wedding professionals who are donating their services for this amazing giveaway.
Thousands of entries that had been gathered for the past six months at other Greater Virginia Bridal shows held statewide by Virginia Bride Magazine- as well as Internet entries from www.vabridemagazine.com were put into a huge raffle barrel and tumbled by DJ Wendell Witt of Music, Music, and More Music- one of the Dream Wedding sponsors.
Carolyn McMillan of McMillan and Wife Photography and Floral another of the Dream Wedding sponsors who helped create the giveaway- reached into the barrel of thousands of entries from around the state- and selected the winner.
The winner’s Heather and Scott who are from Roanoke had only been engaged for a week! Needless to say they are ecstatic and very appreciative of their good fortune.
